This thread will gather all the orders/auras/spells for each army, and will be updated whenever official errata are put online. Models without Order/Aura/Spell but with an entry in an errata will be included.

As always, these are unofficial translations. Please feel free to let me know if you find any mistakes or if you question translation choices.

Nocturnal attack (Permanent - The whole battlefield)
Every model gets the Discretion/4 special ability.

Isha-Akshay, Squamata warchief
Orders:
Do not falter (Passive - 1 CMD)
Target friendly trooper model gets the Rapid Strike (Defense) special ability until the end of the turn. This order may only be used once per activation.
New skin (Passive - 2 Permanent CMD - Unique)
Isha-Akshay gains all his Life Points back.
Retreat (Passive - 1 Permanent CMD - Unique)
Isha-Akshay and all friendly models within 10" may immediately perform a special Retreat action: they may move up to their MOV charactteristic, and they do not trigger Retreat Free Strikes from the enemy.


the Wormpile, collective conscience
Orders:
Subterranean colony
At the Maintenance phase, every model within 3" of the Wormpile take 3 damage points (the PR value is not taken into account).
Inexorable progression
At each of its activation, the Wormpile must run toward the enemy officer via the shortest route. If the officer is dead or absent, the Wormpile run toward the enemy Independent with the highest AP value. If the Wormpile is in contact with an enemy model when it has to move, it must perform a Retreat action to get closer to its target. When under the influence of this order, the Wormpile is immune to all effects that could slow down or prevent its movement (Attraction, Entangle,...). The Wormpile may still be affected by effects making it get to its target faster.


Saurav-Geet, Squamata shaman
Orders:
Exuviae (Active - Variable CMD cost)
Saurav-Geet spends as many CMD points as he wants. He may split as he wishes a total of twice as many Life Points between all Lost models within 4".
Soiling of the faith (1 CMD)
This order may be used when Saurav-Geet dies. The CMD cost is in addition to the loss of CMD from his Death. Every model takes a PR penalty equal to their FTH characteristic for 2 turns.

Aura:
Aura of accuracy (Temporary - Active - 6" radius - Lingering)
War disks users get one extra hit if they hit at least once when they perform a range attack.


Vorenus, Corvus Praetorian
Order:
Harassment (Free - 1 CMD)
All enemy models within 1" take a -1 DEF penalty (down to a minimum of 3 DEF). This Order may be used once per turn.


Slinger and maggot carrier
Order:
Bloody sacrifice (Free - 1 Permanent CMD - Unique)
The Slinger must be in contact with the maggot carrier to use this order. The maggot carrier is killed and explodes in a power 2/3 explosion center on it.

Demons

Asaliah, renegade angel
Order:
Angelical inspiration (Active - 3 Permanent CMD - Unique)
Asaliah and all friendly models regain 8 LP each

Aura:
Aura of regeneration (Permanent - 6" radius - Satanists)
Satanist models regain 1 LP at each maintenance phase.

Spells:
Scourge of the Faithful
Targets one model in contact with the Lemure. The model takes a number of Wounds equal to twice its FTH characteristic (without accounting for PR).
Nauseous cloud
Creates a 3" radius piece of scenery center on the Lemure that lasts for 2 turns. The cloud is Radiant (Consumed (poison - durable - 1/5)) and completely Opaque.
Possession
Targets one model in contact with the Lemure. The model becomes Controlled. It can regain control of itself by rolling as many dice as its FTH characteristic and obtaining at least one 5 or 6. If the model has a FTH value of 0, it rolls only one dice but must obtain a 6 to regain control of itself.


Samael, warrior angel
Retribution does not have the Sharp damage type.
Order:
Chosen of Samael
Samael may choose one model from his company at the maintenance phase. Samael may decide to take any part of any damage this model takes until the end of the turn (without accounting for Samael's PR). Samael may not take more damage than he currently has left.
Martial mortification (Active - 1 CMD)
Samael takes 3 LP of damage (without accounting for his PR). All friendly models get a +1 CBT bonus until the end of the turn.
Ultimate sacrifice
When Samael dies, all friendly models regain all their LP. In addition, his death doesn't make the company lose any CMD.


Tsilla, shattered angel
Orders:
Upright spirit (Free - 2 permanent CMD - Unique)
Tsilla moves anywhere on the battlefield (on open ground and outside of any enemy control zone) without taking into account terrain, models, and control zones, and without triggering any reaction from the enemy models she may have been in contact with.

Aura:
Aura of consciousness (Permanent - 4" radius)
Models take a -1 faith penalty. Tsilla is not affected.

Spells:
Slanderous order
Targets one model (Officer or Independant) in contact with the Lemure. The model is immediately Stunned. This spell has no effect on Troopers.
Swarming cloud
This spell creates a permanent scenery element of 3" radius centered on the Lemure. The cloud is Lethal (Demons and Damned - Immune) (*)
(*) Any miniature on a Lethal/X ground takes X wounds (without taking the PR into account) each turn at the beginning of the maintenance phase. If unspecified, X=1 (rules for ground abilities aren't in the online pdf...)
His spit
Targets one model in contact with the Lemure. The model takes 1d6+1 LP (without taking its PR into account).


Foulques the Black, slaughterer
Order:
Hostile surgery (1 Permanent CMD - Unique)
This order may only be issued when an enemy model (except Lemures and Devoured models) is killed within 8". From the next maintenance phase and until the end of the game, Foulques gains +1 MVT, +2 CBT, +1 DEF, and +1 FTH.


Grain of sand, irksome servant
Aura:
Aura of aneurysm (Permanent - 8" radius - Mentalists)
During the Maintenance phase, Grain of Sand prevents all Mentalists except himself from using their auras for the coming turn. Roll 1d6 for each affected aura, on a 6 Grain of sand takes one LP (the PR isn't taken into account). If Grain of sand dies during a maintenance phase, the affected auras remain unusable until the end of the turn.


Infernal Emissary
Order:
Perfidious insinuation (Free - Variable cost)
Perfidious insinuation is issued after the cost for a Vae soli or Vae victis order has been spent, and costs the same amount of CMD. The Vae soli or Vae victis order is canceled.
Under His protection (Passive - 1 CMD)
The emissary gets the Resistance 4 special ability against one type of damage (piercing, sharp, or blunt) for the next attack (melee or ranged) that hits him at least once. The choice of the damage type is made when the order is issued. If the emissary is already benefiting from this order when the order is issued, the effects don't stack: replace the previous Resistance by the new one.


Damned of Pride
Order:
I was right
If the Great Damned of Pride the Damned of Pride is Associated with dies, the Damned of Pride becomes Brave until the end of the game.

Auras:
Aura of audacity (Permanent - 6" radius - Friendly models)
Friendly models get a +1 CBT bonus. The Damned of Pride is not affected by his own aura.
Aura of delation (Temporaty - Active - 8" radius - Instant)
Choose the Damned of Pride or one friendly, and one enemy model. The friendly model gets the Attraction/6 special ability against the enemy model until the end of the turn.


Great Damned of Pride
Order:
I was right
If the Damned of Pride the Great Damned of Pride is Associated with dies, the Great Damned of Pride becomes Brave until the end of the game.
Challenge (Passive - 1 CMD)
This order may only be issued when the Great Damned of Pride is engaged to a single model. No model, friendly or enemy, may contact the two models any longer. Allied models in contact with these models when this order is issued are not considered to be in contact any longer, and if possible must be moved during their own activation to show it. As long as they are affected by that order, the two models are immune to any effect that could make them break contact, except for a knock down from one of them. In this case, the model still standing will have to keep fighting the Knocked Down model during its next activation. The effects of this order last until one of the models is killed.


Great Damned of Wrath
The Great Damned of Wrath is Limited/2


Mourner
Auras:
Aura of dirge (Temporary - Active - 6" radius - Lingering - Luciferians and models with 3 FTH or more (Immune))
Non luciferian models that have less than 3 FTH take a -1 SHS and a -1 CBT penalties.
Aura of spiritual vice (Permanent - the whole battlefield - Enemy models)
Every time an enemy model spends CMD to use an Order (except Vae soli and Vae victis), it also takes a number of damage points equal to the CMD points spent (without accounting for PR). If an enemy model dies from this Aura when issuing an Order, the Order still takes effect. The effects of two Auras of spiritual vice are not cumulative.


Succubus
Orders:
Shield of Lust (Passive - 2 CMD)
The Succubus gains DEF 6 against all male models in contact until the end of the turn.
Demonic Fury (Active - 2 Permanent CMD - Unique)
The Succubus gains +2 MVT, +2 CBT, and +2 FTH until the end of the game.

Target friendly non Officer model within 6'' is considered still waiting. It can be activated again this turn.
Great strategist (2 Permanent CMD - Unique)
Must be played during upkeep phase. During this turn, Layla chooses what model is activated and when. The opponent may neither use Vae soli nor skip an activation this turn. Players still follow the alternate activations rules, and the player who controls Dominance still decides who will activate first this turn.

Rancour
As long as the Lemure is in play, friendly models within 3'' gain Arch-Enemy (all opponent)/2
Stone shoes
Targets one model in contact with the Lemure. It suffers a -1 DEF penalty until the end of its next activation. it cannot move during its next activation, and no effect can make it move until its next activation.
Life breath
All models within 3'' of the Lemure gain Regeneration/2 as long as the Lemure is in play.


Tarik ibn Malik ibn Rushd, Prince, and his hunting eagle
Orders:
Critical strike (Passive, 2 Permanent CMD)
This order must be used at the beginning of a melee combat. One enemy model engaged by Tarik has an unmodifiable DEF 3 until the end of the turn.
Blood of a king
If the enemy Officer is killed while being in contact with Tarik, and if Tarik survives the turn, the player controlling Tarik wins the game whatever the victory conditions may be.
Second wind (1 CMD)
When Tarik just killed an enemy model, he regains a number of LP equal to the CBT characteristic of the enemy model.

Aura (hunting eagle):
Aura of distraction (Temporary - Passive - 3" radius - Lingering)
Models affected by the aura may neither issue nor receive orders.


Chams al Majid, Jinn
Auras:
Aura of inspiration (Temporary - Active - 4" radius - Lingering - Muslims)
Muslim models get a +1 CBT bonus.
Aura of protection (Permanent - 4" radius - Muslims)
No Muslim model can be the target of a ranged attack. An enemy model using an Explosive weapon may not target a point within the AoE of the aura. A model protected by the aura may only be in the AoE of an explosion if at least one legal target not protected by the aura also is in the AoE of the explosion.
The aura does not protect against blast weapons.
Aura of rapidity (Temporary - Active - 4" radius - Instant - Muslims)
Muslim models get a +3" bonus to their total movement. A model may only be affected once by an aura of rapidity.


Fâtina, houri
Orders :
Welcome of the faithfuls
Fâtina gets +1 CMD every time a non Insignificant allied model dies within 8" of her.
Divine intervention (Free - 3 Permanent CMD)
Fâtina cancels the attack of an enemy model within 8". In a melee combat the opponent of the later still performs its attack (which turns into a free strike).


Jafar al Efrit, nefarious Jinn
Orders :
Contained rage
Jafar gets +1 CBT until the end of the game (max 10 CBT) every time a non Insignificant model is killed.
Lethal whirlwind (Free - 1 CMD)
Whenever a non Insignificant model dies, Jafar may immediately perform a Charge action, an Assault action, or a Melee action. This order doesn't prevent Jafar from activating later, if Jafar was Waiting he still is. If Jafar had already been activated this turn, he may still use this order.


Alchemist
Orders:
Grenade of rage (Active)
The Alchemist may create a 2" radius zone with a center in LoS and within 6" from him. All the models within that zone must perform a Charge or an Assault Action at their next activation. If a model cannot perform one of these Actions, it may activate normally.
Grenade of repulsion (Active - Unique)
The Alchemist may create a 3" radius zone with a center in LoS and within 6" from him. At least the alchemist or one friendly model and one enemy model must be within the zone. The Alchemist picks one enemy model within the zone and immediately moves it by up to 10" ignoring terrain and other models (but the model must end up in a normal terrain, outside of any enemy ZoC, and not in contact with an enemy model). The enemy player does the same with one of your models.

Aura:
Poison cloud (Permanent - 2" radius)
At each Maintenance Phase, every model within the aura loses 3 wound points (their PR isn't taken into account). These are poison damages.


Hashishin
Orders:
Shadow stalker (Passive - 1 Permanent CMD)
The hashishin must be Free to use this order. Immediately move the hashishin to another position within 10" of his current one ignoring terrain and models, outside any enemy ZoC and not in contact with any enemy model. This order may only be used once per activation.


Lancer
Orders:
Celerity of the ourébi (Passive - 2 CMD)
The Lancer gets +1 DPT and +1 DEF (max 5) until the end of the turn.
Sting of the scorpion (Passive - 1 CMD)
The Lancer gets +2 CBT until the end of the turn. This order may not be used more than twice per activation.
Wall of blades (Active - 2 CMD)
The Lancer gets the Opportunity Strike/3 ability and a DEF of 6 until the end of the turn.


Pillar of faith with throwing knives
Orders:
Divine strength (Passive - 1 Permanent CMD - Unique)
The pillar gains +1 SHS, +1 CBT, and +1 FTH until the end of the game.


Pillar of faith with halberd
Orders:
Divine armor (Passive - 2 Permanent CMD - Unique)
The pillar gains +1 DEF and +1 PR until the end of the game.

All engaged friendly trooper models may immediately perform a free strike against one enemy model in contact (to your choice). The Westerner player decides of the order in which the free strikes are performed.

In addition to regular damage, a ranged attack performed by Baptiste during this activation gets one of the following modifiers (chosen before deciding on the target):

-target is Consumed (fire - 2/1) if Baptiste scores at least 3 hits.
The modifiers granted by this order are cumulative, but each one of them may only be used once per action.

Aura:
Who wants to live forever? (Permanent - 4" radius - Friendly models)
Friendly models get a +1 CBT bonus and take a -1 FTH penalty. Baptiste is not affected by his own aura.


Sire Valet, valet
Sire Valet is not Unique, but Associated/Baptiste Valombre
Order:

Sire Valet and Baptiste Valombre immediately swap places.

Georg von Holbein, margrave
Orders:
Glory to the first! (Passive - 3 permanent CMD - Unique)
At the end of Georg activation, and before any enemy activation, all models in Georg army that are still Waiting are activated one by one. The player chooses the order in which the models activate without taking into account any effect affecting activation order (Slowed/X, Great Strategist,...).
Moment of grace (Free - 1 permanent CMD - Unique)
Georg gets the Rapid Strike (Defense) for the next melee combat he participates in.

Georg may spend up to 3 CMD to increase by up to 3 the Shooting skill or Combat characteristic of one allied model (instead of up to 2 CMD for +2)


Aidan St James, sergeant
Orders:

Aidan's harquebus is immediately fully reloaded. This order may only be issued once per activation.
Reload! (Passive - 2 permanent CMD - Unique)
Aidan's and friendly models' harquebuses are immediately fully reloaded.


Alvaro Echeverria de Balaguer, Inquisitor
Order:
Divine stupor (Active - 2 permanent CMD - Unique)
Troopers within 8" that have less than 3 FTH and that are not Unbelievers are considered as having already been activated.

Aura:
Aura of fanaticism (Permanent - 8" radius - Papists)
Papist models are gain the Fanatic special ability.


Sister Eloïse
Sister Eloïse's kriss isn't Sharp any longer.
Orders:
Apparition (Passive - 1 or 3 permanent CMD - Unique)
Sister Eloïse is not placed on the battlefield at the beginning of the game. Her first activation must start with the use of this order. She appears anywhere on the battlefield (except impassable terrain). If she appears within 5" of an enemy model the cost of this order is 3 CMD, otherwise it is 1 CMD.
Assassination (Passive - 1 permanent CMD)
Sister Eloïse's next attack during this activation is a free strike with a +5 CBT bonus. This attack may not target a trooper.


Sara Zingaresce, draba
Aura:
Aura of attraction (Temporary - Passive - 3" radius - Lingering - Males)
Enemy male models consider that Sara has the Attraction/3 special ability.

Spells:
Explosion
Creates an explosion (Fire - power 5/2) centered on the lemure.
Blaze
Creates a circular scenery element of 3" radius centered on the lemure. The element lasts 3 turns, is Radiant (Consumed (fire - 2/3)) and completely Opaque.


Fencer
Order:
God guides my hand (Active - 2 permanent CMD - Unique)
The fencer gains +1 MVT, +2 SHS, +2 CBT, and +2 FTH until the end of the game.


Missionary
Order:
God is my shield (Passive - 1 CMD)
The missionary and all friendly models are immune to Terror until the end of the turn.

Auras:
Aura of fear (Temporary - Active - 4" radius - Lingering - Christians (Immune))
Non Christian models take a -1 CBT penalty
Aura of might (Temporary - Active - 4" radius - Lingering - Christians)
Christian models inflict one more hit in melee combat if they hit at least once.
Aura of healing (Temporary - Active - 4" radius - Instant - Papists)
Papist models regain a number of LP equal to their FTH characteristic.

Battling the windmills
Don Quichotte gets a +3 CBT bonus whenever he fights an enemy model on a very large base.
For Dulcinea! (Active - 2 permanent CMD - Unique)
Don Quichotte Charisma/2 special ability works within 8" instead of 4" until the end of the turn.

Rossinante
Orders:
Battling the titans (Free - 2 permanent CMD - Unique)
Until the end of the turn, every enemy model that activates must perform a Charge, an Assault, or a melee action. Unengaged enemy models may also activate and not do anything. This order cannot be used during the first turn of a game. It does not affect Lemures.
Bladders for lanterns (Free - 1 CMD)
All friendly models are immune to Terror until the end of the turn. Rossinante benefits from this effect as well.

Aura of combustion (Temporary - Active - 4" radius - Instant - Rossinante (Immune) - Unique)
The affected models are Consumed (fire - 3/3).


Gilles of Rais, Marshal of Hades
Orders:

This order is issued at the maintenance phase, just after computing CMD points. Gilles of Rais automatically controls Dominance for the ongoing turn.
Control over terrain
Gilles of Rais's company always controls Dominance at the beginning of the game.
Reinforcements
During deployment and after the enemy list is revealed, Gilles of Rais may choose up to 24AP worth of extra models that will enter the game later according to the late models rules.

Orders:
Tremble in front of the Boors! (Active - 2 permanent CMD - Unique)
Choose one of the following effects:
 -all enemy Independents get the Slowed state,
 -all allied Troopers get the Accelerated/2 state.
Iron hand (Passive - 1 permanent CMD - Unique)
One enemy model in contact is Stunned.


the Traveler (1635)
Orders:
Enchanted weapons (Passive - 1 permanent CMD)
One member of her Company (including herself) gets the Spiritual Damages weapon ability until the end of the game.
Judgement of God (Passive - 1 permanent CMD)
Every enemy model with a DEF of 5 or higher against whom the Traveler is in melee combat have a DEF 4 for this melee combat.
Hell is her domain
During the Terraformation phase, once all the tokens have been placed and revealed, the Traveler may decide to give any of her tokens a Value of 3.
The price of blood
If her company is composed of troopers that are not from the Mercenary faction (thanks to her Prestige ability), enemy Officer and Independant models from the faction of those troopers gain the Arch-Enemy/2 (the Traveler) until the end of the game.


the Traveler (1634)
Orders:
Judgement of God (Passive - 1 permanent CMD)
Every enemy model with a DEF of 5 or higher against whom the Traveler is in melee combat have a DEF 4 for this melee combat.
The two faces of hell
The Traveler gains the Terror special ability when the company she belongs to controls Dominance.
The Traveler gains the Charisma special ability when the company she belongs to does not control Dominance.
Ghostly strike (Free - 1 CMD)
The Traveler gains the Spiritual damage special ability for her next melee combat.


Abd ar-Rahman ibn Muldjam, assassin of Ali
Orders:
Nightmare of the integrists (Free - 1 CMD)
Abd gains the Terror/2 special ability against all models with a FTH of 3 or higher.
Virtuous wrath
Before the beginning of the game, and until the end of the game, Abd gets a +1 CBT bonus for every enemy model with a FTH of 3 or higher.

Auras:
Aura of holiness (Permanent - 8" radius - Models (FTH 0 or 1))
Affected models get a +1 FTH bonus.

One model within 6" undergoes a Life Drain/3.

Alazaïs gets the Terror/2 special ability until the end of the turn.

Spells:
Amnesia
Targets an Aura (even a Permanent one) of one model in contact with the Lemure. That Aura is unusable until the end of the game.
Counter-order
Targets one enemy Independent in contact with the Lemure. The enemy player looses a number of Permanent CMD equal to twice the CMD characteristic of the target model.


Angelo Casaviecchi, smuggler infernalist
Orders:
Capture (Free - Variable)
Angelo spends however many CMD points he wishes and target a lemure within 1". The lemure takes as many damage points as CMD points spent.
Emergency summoning (Special)
Angelo amy only summon a lemure if he is within 2" of a friendly Infernalist. Angelo then uses on the the spells of this Infernalist.


Charon, ferryman of Hades
Charon's race is Marmorean.
Charon's spectral claws are not longer Sharp.
Orders:
Change of circle (Exhausting - 2 Permanent CMD - Unique)
An enemy trooper in contact with Charon is removed from play. It is not considered as having been killed.
Instant movement (Exhausting - 2 CMD)
A model in contact with Charon is immediately moved to another position in open ground within 10" of its current position, ignoring terrain and models, outside any enemy ZoC, and not in contact with any enemy model. The moved model takes a -1 CBT penalty until the end of the turn.


Helle Møller, bounty hunter
Order:
Dead or alive
Whenever Helle is in contact with a unique enemy model (i.e. a model with a name), she gets a +1 DEF bonus. When in melee combat against a unique enemy model, she must use her cudgel and gets a +1 CBT bonus. Against any other enemy model, she must use her long sword.


Isaïa ben Moshe, cabalist
Order:
Word of command (Active - 1 CMD)
If it is within 8" when this order is issued, the golem associated with Isaïa gains +3 CBT and +1 DEF until the end of the turn.

Aura:
Aura of control (Permanent - 8" radius - Golem)
The golem associated with Isaïa gains +3 MVT and +3 CBT.


Golem, clay creature
Order:
Vengeance
This order must be issued when Isaïa is killed. The golem becomes an enemy model for every model and gains +3 MVT, +6 CBT, and +1 DEF. It must be activated first at the beginning of each Action phase by the player who was controlling Isaïa. This action does not count as an activation by that player. If the golem is not already in contact with another model, it must move as fast as possible toward the closest model to engage it. Otherwise it doesn't move. If it is in contact with several model, randomly decide the target of the golem's attacks
Some precisions
If several Golem are under the influence of Vengeance:
  -if they are all controlled by the same player, the latter activates them all before any other model at the beginning of each Action phase, and chooses the order in which they activate.
  -if they are controlled by different player, the player who got the Domination for the current Action phases chooses who must activate all their Golems under Vengeance first. Once the Golems of both players have been activated, the Action phases resumes normally.


Sha ren Zhe, wandering demon
Order:
Scavenger (Passive - 1 Permanent CMD)
Sha ren Zhe must be free to issue this order. Sha ren Zhe is immediately moved in contact with the non Insignificant model with the least LP (if there are several, Sha ren Zhe picks the model he wants), in non impassable ground and ignoring terrain and models. A model contacted this way may not use the Dodge special ability. The use of this Order triggers a melee combat. This order may only be issued once per activation.


Thirty deniers, free-shooter
The musket of Longinus no longer has Piercing damages


Russian trapper
Order:
Skinner (1 CMD)
This order may only be issued when the trapper kills an enemy model. The trapper gains the Terror special ability, or increases his Terror value by 1 if he already has the ability (max: 3).
Traps (Free - 1 Permanent CMD - Unique)
This order must be issued when an enemy model runs, charges or retreats (at any point during this movement). The enemy model is knocked down and takes 3 damage points (without accounting for PR).


Deserter
The SHS values of the deserter are -/- instead of 2/1

The Westerners, Saracens, and Mercs are done (including unreleased models).

As always I'll be grateful for any feedback. I've tried to make sure the translations are accurate and account for all available corrections, but mistakes happen Clin d'oeil. And besides the wording might be awkward at times, so really don't hesitate to let me know.

Also I suggest everyone who put together some cards based on available translations to take a look at those. I've noticed that most of your pdf files do not include errata, and some earlier translations are sometimes fairly inaccurate.

The one we're having trouble with is Chams al Majid's Aura of Protection; it says "A model protected by the aura may only be in the AoE of an explosion if at least one legal target not protected by the aura also is in the AoE of the explosion." The problem is, as far as we understand it, an Explosion doesn't have a target (or it can target an area of ground, which amounts to the same thing). I presume the intent is that at least one model (an enemy of the attacker, obviously) needs to be under the template, and outside the aura. If so, then the phrase "legal target" needs replacing. Or we're not reading the rules for ranged attacks and explosions properly.

You are reading the rules properly. Even the French formulation of Chams errata is slightly confusing, for the same reasons as in English. I think in this case "legal target" is exactly what you describe, i.e. basically a "legal target" for the damages of the explosion (which I believe should not necessarily mean an enemy of the attacker, but I'm going to ask in the rules section).

Would "model" instead of "legal target" make more sense?

EDIT: alternatively, it could mean that you in that particular case you HAVE to choose an enemy model (or a point on the field that happens to have an enemy model on) outside the aura as your target in order to take an explosive shot at him and have models protected by the aura under the AoE of the explosion. I'm definitely asking Clin d'oeil

That's what I originally thought too, but now that I successfully confused myself I'd like to get an official word on that Clin d'oeil

EDIT: Geof has spoken, and the answer is what you assumed. I edited accordingly, let me know if that works better.

Vargas: you're right, thanks.
Éloïse: that's a passive order, meaning she can issue it at any time during her activation (except during a melee combat or a ranged attack). Since she has to issue this particular one at the beginning of an activation, she can then proceed with the rest of her activation the way she wishes (other order, charge,...).
