Generalities :

Dog of War Forum organizes a monthly painting contest. Each month, contest’s theme will be revealed in the appropriate topic. In order to compete, all challengers must post a shot of their painted miniature in the appropriate topic before the 20th of the current month.

IMPORTANT NOTE : all challengers must post their miniature shots in the same topic, no matter their language.

A topic where users will vote for their favorite miniature will decide of the painting contest winner.

1.Painting contest topics :

Those topics will be opened in the “ Communauté/Modélisme/Figurines” :

--> Dog of War Painting contest general rules.
--> Painting Contest : Dog of War miniatures of the month – [ month] [ year]/ Concours: Figurine Chiens De Guerre du mois - [mois] [année].

--> Debates about the painting contest [mont] [year]/Discussion - [mois] [année],
--> Voting ( month ) (year)/ Vote [mois] [année].
--> Painting Contest Results/ Résultats.

2.Rules :

Only one entry by user.
Posted shot must not exceed 800 pixels width. Height is not limited.
You can add a short description of your miniature, if needs be.
You must use the miniature’s regular base, nothing else, except if the painting contest rules explicitly state that you can use an other type of basement.
Depending of the contest's theme, converting can be allowed. In this case, all converted entries must be based on Hell Dorado miniatures.

We have the right to supress without warning any shot if we find that these rules has been violated.

3.Votes :

Forum users will elect their favorite miniature by using the forum poll fonction until the end of the contest submission period.

4.Results :

After voting time, a member of Dog of War crew will announce the winner’s name in “ Résultat [mois] [année]. The announcement will occur the very first day of the fellowing  month ( usually).

5.About frauds and claims :

In case of frauding, sanctions will be emplied.
If you have a claim, please send a Private Message ( MP) to a Dog of War moderation crew member and express clearly the reason of your grievance.

6.Reward :

Winner’s miniature will be outlined on Hell Dorado official site, with his owner comments.

Painting contest July theme :

One miniature of any starter pack or “ La Voyageuse” limited edition.
The base must be the standard one, not a large scenic base or a plint.
Miniature converts are not allowed.

Please feel fee to submit your mini, even if you judge that your painting level is really below the  mediocre ;).

One question. This has to be finished by July 20th? That's kinda soon. Or is it August 20th?

Ahh...nevermind. I think I answered my own question. The French post was put up on July 4th so they actually had two weeks to work where as we've been given like 3 days.  ::)

But it is a monthly painting contest, so you should be able to particpate during the August contest ;).
