Any update on when these will be available? Last I heard was that a decision would be made after two game shows that are now both over.
Thanks.
Want to know the same thing myself. The models are stunning to say the least ;D but I've been holding off on getting anything till the english versions are avabiable. Hope it's sometime soon, I realy want to get my paws on some n start painting.
You can always buy the minis before the rules are released ;)
They are still being translated, work in progress, it's better to wait a bit and get well-translated rules than rush it and end up with loads of mistakes, don't you think ?
yes, please don't botch the translation like Rackham likes to do.
i agree id rather wait another 6 months than get helldorado in the style of cadwallon....
ive been holding off on this for a while to see how things pan out with rackham and with a new baby in the house my time is limited and skirmish games may be my only hope from now on so this cant come quickly enough for me.
True enough, I don't want them to rush The translation or anything. I would love to pick up some of the mini's but I want to get them with the english cards. Thats what has been holding me back from getting any yet.
I"m waiting as well.
HOnestly ive been looking for a place in th USA that has these models in stock so I can buy them. I do plan on buying some of them soon if i can find someone with them in stock.
Ive read thru the translations of the rule and it seems like fun, PLus the minatures are just top notch
Ok, I solemnly promise we wont go any faster than necessary for the best possible quality ;)
Does anyone know how many pages it might be and if its hardback or softback?
The French version is 208 pages softback. I'm assuming the English one will be close
I'm very anxiously yet patiently waiting for the English rules. I'd much rather see the book translated properly the first time as well. For those of us here in the states that went ahead and bought all of the starter boxes based on the translated rules and the beautiful sculpts, will translated cards be available seperately when the time comes?
translated cards would be awesome, i know a bunch of us already took the plunge and bought minis.
I Hope that at least they will available in the website so we can print them.

Not to be too greedy, but I'd hope they would do card packs to catch up to the models already released at that point.
I have no idea if the cards will be released separately, maybe those who already have the French versions could ask Asmodee directly... At the worst, each mini has a page in the book with all the info from the card, if you need translation...
hi !
due to the first post on the forums I would like to say 'HI !' to everybody :)
definitely nice to see some familiar 'faces' around here. the game definitely deserves such support and only thing that prevents me from spending more and more money (so far I have starter and first box of Daemons and planning on buying starter of The Lost) on this game is the lack of official english rules. speaking of which... any word on the official tranlation is yet to be heard or the silence engulfed this topic ?
Work is still in progress, as the rulebook isn't the only bit that needs translation, the other bits (like stat cards, text for the boxes and so-on) keep getting in the way a bit... But it's coming along, slowly but surely ;)
Good 2 hear! Is there any word on if the cards r going 2 b released seperatly? Just curious cause if they r I'll start buying some of the minis be4 the english rules get released.
I second to this question, as I want to buy second starter in couple of days. and that definitely would help me making a decision whether to buy or to wait a bit.
I suppose there is no approximate date of the english releases to hit the stores

No...sorry.
Man i cant wait for the rules, played a cople of games down my club but now holding out for the rules.
:DI can ditch all the A4 sheets i have as rules and stats.
A big HELLO from yet another new face (keyboard).
With the recent release of the English pdf, I finally took the plunge and bought me every Sarrasin fig I could lay my hands on at Fantization (perhaps obviously, I'm in the US). 'Course, they're French, and my French... well... limited doesn't even begin to cover it. Put me down as another highly motivated early adopter who would LOVE to have the English cards available separately, once they're ready.
On a related matter -- whilst out proselytizing at my FLGS I ran into surprisingly heavy resistance, considering what gadflies my fellow gamers are and how amazingly beautiful the minis seem to be. Nobody wants to buy into yet another European game with questionable US support. Many feel stung by Rackham 'cause of their translation and distribution difficulties (not to mention the whole paradigm shift to PPPs). Infinity is suffering a similar fate as the minis are impossible to find around here (at least their rulebook is more successfully... regionalized). Anyway, I'm glad Asmodee is taking their time with the translation. I love the tone and humor in the pdf and I'm looking forward to more. Keep up the good work!
Of course, is there anyway it could be done... like... yesterday? Heck, even today would do. ;)
