been reading the rulebook and the tranlated rules and still can't find the proper order for deployment....?
the player with the domination can if he want deploy first or force his opponent to deploy first ...
do the players alternate ... or the one deploying first place his entire army at once ???
thanks again ....
I don't know for sure, but the way that we've played it so far is that the player with Dominance chooses who places first. We each then take turns placing a miniature on the table until all miniatures are deployed.
yes I asume it is that way as well ,as the action pahse players aternate the activatons of models but it is not clear at least for me ... let see if any french player write ow they play ....
The deployment rules are in the terrain and scenarios section of the rules, which was not included in the free downloads. Usually the player with domination decided which player deploys his whole force first.
The basic scenario goes like this: you divide the playing field into nine 10"x10" squares. Your deployment zone is 5". At the end of each round, you gain victory points for each square you control. The three squares closest to you give one VP each, the squares in the middle give 2 VPs each and the squares furthest away give 3 VPs each. You control a square by having more models in it than the opponent (Insignificant fighters don't count). The game lasts for four turns after which either player can decide that one more round will be played. After this round, the player who didn't insist on the fifth round can insist for a sixth round, after which the game ends.
It's a really nice scenario and it also balances the fact that having a few lower points fighters tends to be a bit weaker than having one more expensive fighter. This game was designed for scenarios, so it's a feature, not a bug, really.
Hi
I can guive you the ligth.
The deploiement: the players which have the domination decide who deploy his entire army. It's not alternate. This is on the french forum here: http://arch01.forum.helldorado.fr/index.php?topic=1188.0 (http://arch01.forum.helldorado.fr/index.php?topic=1188.0)
