The original powerhouses, the Lost, Odysseus and his merry band:
The Lost are all about power, but don't let that fool you into thinking that they aren't tactical. They, too, have interesting synergies going on and they have a nice amount of shooting to complement their incredible close combat prowess. They are also surprisingly fast and since they aren't all that numerous (models tend to cost a lot of points), they can switch their focus on the battle field rather quickly.
- Bran Carnoth, the big guy. This dude is an absolute monster in every sense of the word. PR 3, 16 Life Points, Terror and his unique order all combine to make him nearly indestructible. I say nearly, because I've seen him go down, but that takes a lot of effort. And I do mean a lot.
On the offense he is also a beast. His damage table is brutal and ends with the dreaded Knock Down. With CBT 7 and some skills to complement that, Bran can really bring the hurt down. He has two unique orders, one knocks everybody around him down and the other gives him Quick Strike on attack meaning that if he kills his opponent he won't get hit back.
Now, there is a downside to all of this. He has a relatively low CMD value of only four and he costs a whopping 84 points. In 200-point games that is a lot. He also has Faith 0, which means that Asaliah loves to possess this guy and turn his incredible combat potential against his allies. Luckily the starter box includes a solution for this latter problem.

- Hell Fang, the two-headed lizard-dog, is the designated Lemure eater. Especially important when going against Asaliah to guard Bran from possession, Hell Fang fills a similar role to the Panther in the Saracen warband. He doesn't do all that much raw damage, but can knock down and immobilize enemies to let the Lost close combat specialists beat them even more soundly than normal.

- Slinger is the artillery piece of the Lost, with her ammo corpse she throw exploding maggots at the enemy and wreaks nice havoc. With her special order she can make all the maggots on the ammo corpse go boom, which tends to kill almost anything.

- Warrior Squamate is the basic grunt of the Lost. He has nice stats, a very nice damage table, a throwing weapon and resistance to blunt weapons. A versatile fighter that can fill many roles.

- Retiare is the bug-eyed partner to the lizardy Squamates. They are vulnerable to blunt weapons, but increase the PR of allies in base to base contact. See? I told that there was nice synergy going on here. They have good stats and are really good at knocking down opponents, which makes them ideal partners to Squamates who can then put the real hurt on their opponent with their awesome damage table. A very solid fighter, whose main weakness is that they get wounded relatively quickly, which, when it happens, severely compromises their fighting potential.

Any questions or comments?
Nice summery, but you sould add something on the " general view of the faction" :
Most of Losts has "Pathfinder/Arpenteur" skill ( except the slinger, his swarming fellow and Retiarii, I think...) and that comes very handy. Your troops won't be annoyed by rough terrain and so on...
Plus they can stop their movement in those kind of terrain feature ( others should pay 1 CMD to do so...), they are very flexible.
Most of them are Atheist, and that can be a HUGE problem against minis which can cause Spriritual Damage ( not to mention Asaliah Possession spell) because their Protection goes to the remarkable score of 0.
Plus, that the only faction devoid of Infernalist at the moment : no cute lemure breeder in your force :-\.
another great model the lost have that add lot to their tactical uses .. is the Cracheur Squamate . limited at 2 model a nd costing 24 point and 9 point of life . this dude look like a regular squamate warrior but carry a grenade type weapon range 4 that will make every one hit suffer from the state Slow , Iit is a heavy weapon so no moving and shoting with it .
His other perk is the ability to spit acid this will be using the triangular template and every model under the template will take 2 point of damage for every hit you will need to roll 5 in the power test , and it require a turn to reload ... but it come on handy to disrupt the enemy line up other thing is that the models will suffer from the comsume acid for 3 turn loosing an extra poimt of life in every maintenance phase ift hey dont try to clean the acid (focalization).
In close combat they are as good as the warrior as if they hit 5 times 12 will be the damage sufered by the enemy .
the other boss for the lost Isha a Squamate champion on top of being a killing machine on his own right and a leader alowing you to double the amount of grunts you can hire have in his orders two special ones .
Nes pas fabir this give the frappe rapid defense to one of your grunts ... really good for the retitaries or warriors
new skin will give Isha back all the ponit of life lost so you can go and whack away without worries
and the best of all order this chap have is called (Repli) retreat ???. Beeter used if Isha is the last model of your activation ...
engage all your models do some damage make sure you win the domination and when is time retreat all the models arround Isha it only work on model 10 arround Isha and allow all allies to retreat from combat witout sufering a one sided attack ...
