Titre: To those who have the rulebook
Posté par: Space Cowboy le Mars 24, 2008, 03:20:47 AM
With the posting recently of the minis due for release in wave 5, I have a favour to ask of anyone with a rulebook. Is it possible to give us non-french speakers a heads-up as to what to expect from them? Not hard stats or info on auras and spells, but just an overview of what the minis do. Its nice to know whats coming but the anticipation gets too much after a while ;D It would be cool for the future releases as well, and of course this is assuming Asmodee doesnt have a problem with it. Thanks guys!

In the order they come in the book:

Westerners
Swordsman: melee trooper(s?)

Demons
Cryer: Independent mentalist.
One aura gives -1 penalty in CBT and SHS to non luciferian models with less than 3 Faith within 6"
Other aura: anywhere on the battlefield, models that use CMD points to use an order take the same # of wounds as the # of CMD points spent

Demon of flesh: blocking trooper, it regenerates all its wounds points

Saracens
already detailed here (http://arch01.forum.helldorado.fr/index.php?topic=1536.0)

Losts
Etruscilla: corvus (bird-like race) Officer, mentalist. A very poor fighter but makes up for it by making the whole game nocturnal (all models get the Discretion ability), and by being able to cast light on single models to make them lose Discretion.
Saurav-Geet: Squamata shaman, Independent model with a healing order and an aura boosting ranged disks of Squamata warriors.
Squamata spitters: ranged fighters with a acid spray spitting attack and an explosive drool.

I'll do the mercs tomorrow unless someone else gets to it before :)

that gotta be me

let see

Gilles De Rais  Marshal of Hell (or something on those lines)  Officer ...

it look like one of the double Soldier  from the westeners  but with a meaner  sword  and dont get wound penalties ...

his best order allow him to take the domination for the coming turn
the other one  always give the domination at the star of the game

and he have reinforcement allow him to take 24 extra that will come latter iinto the game

Assassin D'ALI
a saraceen independent   this dude really hate figthers with faith 3 or above
at the start of the game he will gain a combat dice for every enemy fighter of  faith 3 or above
he will have terror 2  when fighting  model with faith 3 or above

his auras are even better  as one give one plus to faith for models of faith 0 or 1 and the other one (active one)  heal 3 pv to models  of faith 1 or 2

we also getting an Italian infernalist  smugler  Angelo Casaviecchi  not completly sure if I got him rigth .
I think he is capable of sumoining  lemures to help other infernalist ...

CHaron  this guy look like it will be fun to play   he have an order(extenuant) that allow  you to move  an enemy 10 inches away  not sure if you will be able to  send him in to contact with  other of you models
his unique order  allow him to take an enemy trooper in contact with him out of the game

Helle Moller  a  female  tracker  in the art work she have  several scars on her face  she use two weapons  asword and a  mace
the mace don't do damage but can stun and slow  or inmobilize .
if she fight  and Unique  model (those with a proper name ) she will get  and extra point on defense  and a bonus combat dice, if she use the mace againts an unique model ,...  her protection is bad  and get worse  (zero )againt slashing  attack

Franc tireur ...  and unique shooter,  use a mosquet  range 10  spiritual damage,   and with 4 dices  to shoot  5 if he don't move.  can;t fight  in close combat  but he don't need it  really ...

Russian Huntsman    good figther  bit expensive  his order allow him to rise his terror by 1  or  adquire it  againt a model he is fighting  It can't go above 3

his unique order is  sweet  ,dont  know if I get it right, ....  he can  set a trap againt an enemy model  that is been activated  and performing running, charging or runing away from combat  the enemy model will fall (mis au sol )  and take 3 point of damage  with no protection

deserter
a 4 point of life figther  with a masive  damage table  and at 11 point this guy will be the ones gatting  vae victis  a lot as they only have 3 dices  to fight but if they hit 5 times they can dish an 11 point of damage  :o :o :o  for a mere 11 points and the have charge reception

Thank you for the posts guys!  I'm still waiting on my rulebook and it's nice to see what we have to look forward to, which allows us to shape our armies, too, although I'll probably end up buying all the releases anyway!

I remember a Buddhist Mercenary being in the rulebook. His artwork looked pretty cool. Was he listed above and I just missed it?

It is Sha Zen Rha, a bouddhist demon...quite tough, he can poison its opponents and warp directly in base to base to the weakest ennemy model.

There are also :

Helle Moller, a female bounty hunter.
Trente deniers ( thirsty deniers), an elit sharpshooter ( with Longinus musket  ;)).
Alazaïs, a female infernalist ( can cast a life drain and has good control spells ^^).
Angelo Casaviecchi, an italian lemure smuggler and breeder. He is not an infernalist de ipse, but he can summon a lemure when he is in base to base with an allied infernalist and he's quite canny at catching them.
