Titre: Frenzied/Frenetic
Posté par: BlasterBonatti le Mai 18, 2008, 03:06:19 AM
Am I right in thinking that "frenzied" (or frenetic, or mental or what have you) means that both (or more, depending on how many are in contact) models fighting have two attack sequences? Or is it only the "frenzied" model that makes two attack sequences? (effectively one normal attack and then a one-sided attack in it's favour?).

It's 2 full attack sequences, with the opponent striking back both times.

and no matter how many are in contact only two models fight the  frenetic and  the original  target. the rest give bonus dice to the fight....
I don't think  is possible to  use frenetic to hit diferent targets ...
thinking that if the frenetic model end in contact with two models  and kill one in his first combat , but still have contact with the second one  then he in theory could fight the other model.. but no sure about that one

I figured it wouldn't be one sided, but thought I'd ask just in case because that would be stunningly good! I thought each model had to fight all models in contact with it, unless it's "elusive", therefor if the active model has frenzy it would fight two attack sequences with each model in contact with it.

Kinda.

It does fight both models but this takes the form of fighting one that gets a bonus.  A model only attacks one model in BTB, the others give it a bonus.

Yeah but it also means it's going to die rather quickly, with DEF 3 and 0 protection even the lowliest troopers will be able to kill it while getting minced themselves. Samael on the other hand.........

and don't forgot that it's only when the frenetic attacks that's there are 2 full attack sequences.

If the frenetic is attacked by a non-frenetic, there is only one attack sequence ;)
