So considering most folks in Canada have never even heard of Asmodee (thus the chances of there being a Prima Materia tourney here are remote) I guess getting the Voyager model is out of the realm of posibility?
Not even as a webstore exclusive or something? Like Rackham used to do?
Pretty please?
I own all the Westerners to date... I hate not having a complete set. :)
Well, if you have all the westerners, than you have a complete set at the Voyager is a merc :)
But I agree, I would love to have her as well. And it's going to be a long time anywhere in the US as well I think before we get a chance to grasp her.
Hi there what you need to do is contact Asmodee and get someone to organise a tourney, that way you will get what you wish for, but only if you win of course.
Yeah; considering that there isn't a single stockist of these products anywhere in Ontario at this point I don't find that to be particularly likely.
Sorry; didn't know she was a Merc. She looks a lot like a westerner.
hi there our tourneys are supported by a games shop but get friendly with your on line provider and maybe they could sort something out with asmodee.
Thanks Jeff
Tell you what, if I ever win one in a tournament its yours ... ;D
Hello, be aware that from time to times, there is possibility to buy one at auction online.
Try also to look in french version of these sites.
I don't like this way but if getting a Voyager is your dream, this seems to me your best possibility.
She's absolutely rediculously good, I don't think anyone should have her!
Well yes; but I've always thought it was a little silly to ever make it hard to buy a product from a company.
I'll take whoever it was who said they'd give me theres in a tourney up, except I'd pay you for it!
Thanks!

Somebody gave me one, so its only fair that if I obtain one through other means then I give it away. Spread the love and all that.
I`ll let you pay for postage though. ;)

It is very kind of you Dogmeat, I like the way you see it ;) ;D
@ Sven and Dogmeat... Thanks a ton guys! That's probably the nicest anonymous thing anyone's ever done for me on the Internet.
Dogmeat: I just sent you a PM. At least let me give you 10 bucks on top of postage for it. It's only fair. :)
Sven: Thanks a ton as well! It would have taken me forever to get you a Gilles as I would have had to order it online and then send it on (no one retails this stuff in Toronto).
Again, thanks to both of you! I've literally never experienced Gamer-Good-Will like this. :)

I`m starting to get used to gamer goodwill. Back when I started playing Warhammer I was given around 2000pts by random strangers in order to get me up to speed. I also seem to have trouble saving donuts too, much to the delight of the Fanboy gamers. ;D
You guys rock! Thanks for all the help!
Ash
Yeah and capt Clegg and bork got there first, but that said a free doughnut is a thing of beauty. If you drop into the shop ill throw you the traveller, and you can send it off. If you wanna put all goodwill towards more doughnuts then the world will be a better place.
PHILL
hey those donuts were gooood, i'd push my own mother down the stairs for the another bite :D
Phill, did you get my PM?
If not; just email me at thatbakerkid@gmail.com and we can talk!

Hi all,
Just read through this topic, brilliant stuff this gamer karma :D.
As a separate note, is it possible to get the voyager (old one) any more? Are Asmodee planning to release an english one? Its certainly a nice sculpt...
Regards,
Dennis
I think it's still available from primae materiae
it wouldnt be playable in tournements though dude
Why would that be? Is none of the Prima Materia stuff Tournament legal?

The 1st Traveller was a Mercenary Independant. The profile of the 2nd Traveller has upgraded her to a full blown Officer. You can use either figure to represent her but the only profile currently "tournament legal" is the 2nd one.
So there's two seperate models, yes? I've only seen the lunging one with the spear off the Prima Materia website (I guess this is the second one?). Where could I find an image of the first one?
And can she take Westerner Troopers?
For your information the Voyageuse "first version" was a limited edition offered to the first buyers of the rulebook...
Before the update of her rules she was an independant. See link below to discover her profile and a picture of the miniature.
http://helldorado.fr/factions/les-mercenaires/la-voyageuse/index.php
You may still use her as an independant for friendly games (as long you have the agrement of your adversary) but you'll have to apply the new profil during official tournaments. Note you use the old miniature with the new profile even for official tournaments/events...

First Traveller (http://www.megangeckler.com/school/fc/sculpture/images/duanehanson/duane_hanson_traveller.jpg).
As the first edition is an Independent Merc it could be used in any army.
Thanks man! I just litterally found her in the mercs section of the Asmodee site as you posted this. I guess she was a reinforcement box and then they resculpted her for Prima Materia, eh? (EDIT: just read Sven's post about the rulebook release... that's even cooler!)
She's an Ottoman Empire Templar then. I like her weird Lost Leather armour in the one that was originally available... but I REALLY like the officer version. I imagine as an Officer I can likely still recruit most of my Westerner troopers with her then yes?

Strangely, I actually have.
Then, like me, you were likely once an art student.
I would say he is more a FOOD LOVER :D ;D

Science actually, though the other half is an art student. I seem to learn via knowledge osmosis from her. ;D
Aha! Mine as well (she's the one that loves the Meat Dress, as well as Taschen anatomy books...)...
Wow. I stepped away from the forum for a few days and people are getting the Voyager... :-[
I'm a very sad and jealous American. If any more pop up, I'd love to get one of them!
I've tried contacting Asmodee to run a tournament in our area but received no reply. :-[

that actually sent shivers down my spine - i'm currently feeling very violated and i'm ex-airforce/ex-rugby player so it takes a lot to make me feel violated ;)
Meat-dress for the win! :D
