I run a gaming store in Edmonton, Alberta, and I'm looking for a source for these minis. Anyone have any idea if there is a North American Distributor?

Hey Tom, never been to your store, I'll have to pop by next time I'm in.
Currently the only North American distribution is through http://www.fantization.com but it won't be cheap I'm sure. Your best bet is likely contacting Asmodee France and seeing if they sell direct to stores like Dark Age or Corvus Belli.
Thanks Breten. Unfortunately I've tried to get ahold of the company directly since the 28th, but have yet to receive a reply (thus my post here). I'd be more than willing to supply their gorgeous minis in my store (it's what I specialize in; difficult to find miniatures such as Black Scorpion, Avatars of War, Enigma, etc) but I'd have to get someone to talk to me about it first. ;)
Hopefully I'll get a reply soon from someone with the ability to help me out with this!
Cheers.
As soon as you can get them I'll be ordering some so I can stop dealing with Fantization and their wait times. :P
Fantization does retailer packs though...
The Wholesaler Webpage (http://www.fantization.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=314)
Try calling Steve at Fantization. I've always been able to get back to him on the phone...
EDIT: Glad I know someone in Edmonton. Too bad you're not from Toronto...
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately as soon as a second-hand distributor gets their mitts on a product, their mark-up usually makes it simpler to order direct from the manufacturer.
I assume that you're from Toronto from your post. I happen to supply a lot of guys out there with Warmachine & Hordes... seems the East-Coast distributor can't get their stuff in either on time or at a decent cost, whereas my Western supplier is always prompt & cheap; I've been selling PP models at their listed US cost since I've opened, and still made my margin.
Anyways, thanks for the tip. I checked out Fantization, and most of what I looked for was "Backordered", so I'd have to assume that he's stockpiling orders to make it worth his time ordering. I'll just go at it alone once someone from LCdG gets in touch with me.
Cheers.
We've got lots of local retailers for PP products and pretty much everyone's gone US price at this point.
Good luck! I'll send someone to you shopping for me as soon as you've got stock.
Do any of the guys who actually work for the company post here? Maybe if I sent them a PM or something...
Cheers.
The english forums seem to be a bit neglected. They actually have a hilarious thread in the french General Discussions forum saying not to post anything in english in there as it should be french-only. :D
Keep hitting whatever contact email is on their website. Someone's bound to get back to you eventually.
Or you could 411 their head-office in france and ask if they have any English speaking staff you could talk to.

I will contact Asmodee by phone for you this morning so you should receive an answer soon.
Keep me in touch if still nothing in one week. (they are busy people so let them few days ;))
EDIT: I just phoned Asmodee. A competent person is now in charge and should contact you soon ;)
Thank you very much! I look forward to hearing from them.
Cheers.
You're welcome ;)
Two emails, several posts & nearly a month... haven't heard anything.
I appreciate the help from those who have offered it, but I can't believe how incredibly hard it is to get a gaming system into my store; I've had much better luck & speed from Spain, Germany & Italy... why does France seem so difficult to breach? (Rackham was notorious for delays for example). I've got customers, they want these models; where's the problem?
Tom @ Red Claw, the slightly irritated
Well, actually, in France, we have a really big issue with summer, especially July/August, and even more August. It's the time when everyone gets its holidays, and so, every company works veeeeeeery slowly. It's a pain for everyone in France and abroad. And, it's worse in August, because it's the customary "closing-time" for most companies.
Really, you knocked at the wrong time. I'm sure and positive that you'll get what you want, and your customers too. But, it will take more time than usual, depending on the number and type of people spending their holidays at the moment. ::)
Alright, but I've been told that person "A" was in charge of it when he was on holiday, and now that he's back, another person is now responsible for it... and I don't know if he's on holiday or what...
Just frustrating is all... if I ran my business this way, I'd wouldn't have one.

Send me a direct e-mail Tom
(sorry I came on the english part of the forum only once in a while)
Email has been sent; I haven't checked back for over a week now, as I was beginning to lose hope!
Tom @ Red Claw
Geof might be busy preparing for Gencon / flying to Indianapolis / stressing out before the con right now. Just so you don't expect a very quick answer to your email ;)
~grumble grumble~
Thanks for the heads-up. I know this time of year is a busy one, hence my attempt at contact over a month ago... ~sigh~
Tom @ Red Claw
I tried tracking him down at GenCon, but missed him every time.
So it wasn't just me at GenCon who couldn't find him- but then again I couldn't even find the booth!
The couple times I managed to hit the booth, he wasn't there.
