HURRAH!!!!!!!!!!  ;D  I have just been informed that there will be an English Rulebook in "Early" 2009

So we will soon have a rulebook to call our own!!! We won't just have to look at the pretty pictures anymore and figure out what the words mean

Hopefully it will be out for Salute at the latest (March this time)
This also means we can really start pushing the tournaments and OP scene too

BEST NEWS OF THE WEEK!

Cheers
Graham

Enthusiasm is great, but without any link or solid source for your information it is not worth very much...

I dunno.  Looking at the post history, this bloke appears to be Graham from SMG, one of the UK distributors of gaming "stuff".

I have this from a source at Asmodee that they are going "international" with English rules for Hell Dorado in early 2009.

Which means that the UK player base can start getting built up properly as from next year.

I'm also trying to find out if we will be able to get English cards before then or as replacements when the rules comes out.

I'll let you know

Never be sorry for doubting people on the internet.  *Always* doubt them until proven otherwise.   ;D

I wonder what were the strings that Geof et al pulled in order to convince Asmodee that publishing a game with hellish demons and women with great bosoms is a great way to profile the main company outside France... probably the great bosoms part.

Erm ..  where ?

This game so far has mature themes but I can`t think of any big breasted ladies.  Most are reasonably well covered and armoured.

'early 2009' is now officially second quarter according to the web site. So probably another Salute with a lot of convincing to do... I wonder how many people who turned up in 2008 will point out that English support was supposedly coming 'soon' 12 months before. Let's hope it does not slip towards end of Q2 / Q3, or beyond...

I see that I have the civic duty of degenerating this thread before it gets any more sensible:
They're nothing compared to the knockers on this rack (http://www.secondchanceinc.org/images/catalog/Hardware_and_Doors_Door_knockers.jpg).

Oh wait. This isn't UKCORD.

..

The new delay with the rulebook is disappointing, but understandable - at least they're going forward with the project. I'd like for the developers to translate the scenarios and terraforming rules for the duration of the wait and work on the Zaebas Campaign - I mean.. 4th season for the french version and not even the first one has been translated into english...
