Strategic advantage cards ... they look like orders but look like cn be used only at the begining of the game and give certain advantage to all combatants of the same army ....
and it look like they are organizing the tourney scene ...

Strategic cards may be gained by victories in tourney, but I understood they will be gave to players before play.
A strategic card may be used in tourney, but only one time (they cut an edge of the card to represent an used card), but you may choose to not spend it for a future tourney.
A strategic card may be used in friendly games with your opponent's agreement (you don't have to cut your card in that case ;D )
there are although "materiae points" gained in tourneys, and some of this points may be spent to gain goodies and items for HD.

I hope that we can have a tournament in Sweden running on each of the big game conventions!
But more than that I want more evil demons and damned to build up my band of "locals"!
