Played my second game this week, and changed it abit, we started with the westeners starting on the ridge and the demon forces split on each side. The game went very well with the Arquebuiser's unloading into the demons and then St James ordering the reload, Pavlova couldn't help herself and charged of the ridge to engage two Damne de le colere's. The battle changed when the succube charged up the back end of the ridge killing one arquebuiser, the Infernal Ambassador engaged the bretteur in one of the most heated battle of the game, with the ridge looking like a safe haven for the westeners a lurmue sneaked on to the ridge and exploded in a cloud of poisonous gas forcing everyone off. With battle's ensueing all around by the time the smoke had cleared the only one's left were the Missonnare and Asaliah with two of the Damne de le paresse. The demons had destroyed the westeners but at a price.

This pic was taken from the second game of the night where we try starting 12" from the long table edge. Sorry about the pic, taken from a camara phone.
thanks for the report!
Agreed, thanks for the report. If you get the chance, I'd love to see a more detailed report from any future games, with a turn by turn breakdown and a few more pictures. :)
Will do next time.
This was at a different club to last time and it was my first game with the new English rules, same forces but this time the westerners were coming into port to find the town deserted and a fog had falling on the once busy port. As the boats docked and they were about to debus from the ships the fog cleared to show that the foul daemons had taken the port and were charging down the streets to the docked ships. Hastlely shouting orders the gunners lined up and fired the first shot still on the ships and the daemons hit home.
Great game played with a win for the demons, had some probs with the rules but only because I didn't have all the updates, but as always a good game. The pic was taken by someone else from this club and I have just found it on their blogg, so sorry again for the bad pics. Yes the fight was the other side of the sails, but we were playing I promise you.
