Binary Command

The Immortals Faction introduces a new notion, Binary Command

The CMD characteristic of a fighter can be accompanied with either of the following symbols: Light or Dark or no symbol.

Use tokens of two different colors to represent the CMD points which the company has. In a simple way, we shall speak about Dark tokens and about Light tokens.

When the CMD of a fighter is accompanied with a Dark symbol, the CMD points it brings to the company will inevitably be Dark.

When the CMD of a fighter is accompanied with a Light symbol, the CMD points it brings to the company will inevitably be Light.

When the CMD of a fighter is accompanied with no symbol, the CMD points it brings to the company will be the player's choice, Light Dark, or mixed.

During the Upkeep Phase, after the companies get back their CMD points, we identify three situations:

The CMD points consist of as many Light tokens as Dark tokens, there is no particular effect on the Enlightened and Bloodthirsty, capacities will remain inactive;

The CMD points consist of a majority of Light tokens, during the following Action Phase, the capacity Enlightened will be considered as active on the figurines which have it (the Bloodthirsty capacity is inactive);

The CMD points consist of a majority of Dark tokens, during the following Action Phase, the Bloodthirsty capacity will be considered active on the figurines which have it (the capacity Enlightened is inactive).

When a point of permanent CMD is spent, the player can freely choose to use a token of the Tint of his choice.

When a fighter is killed, the player loses tokens of CMD, of the Tint which corresponds to the characteristic of that figure.  If there are already no more tokens of the adequate Tint then the loss is taken from the pool.

When the reserve of CMD points is recalculated, the player uses the CMD points with the tokens which were not used permanently, it is not possible to invert then tokens of different Tints.

If a fighter has to spend points of CMD of a particular Tint to use an order, and if there are no more points of that Tint, then he cannot use this order.

NEW STATES

Cursed x/y
The affected fighter has to boost(relaunch) x dices indicating a hit during every exchange of fire competed during them there next tours(ballots).
The fighter stumbles, nearly releases his weapon and seems incapable of fighting efficiently. When he rolls an attack while affected by this state, he will then have to reroll X dice that indicated a success. This state can be added to dice that must be rerolled by the fighter if it faces an opponent having Man at Arms . It is impossible to reroll more than 5 dice all in all.
If the duration is equal to 1, the state disappears at the end of the turn.

SPELL KEYWORDS

Remanent
The spell implies that the Lémure stays in play after the spell takes effect.

Evanescent
The spell implies the disappearance of the Lémure from the battlefield as the effect of the spell comes into play.

NEW SPECIAL ABILITIES

Cannon Fodder X
if the model is included up to X times in a company, these models are considered as being of the same faction as the company's officer (for company composition purposes).

Frightening
Every opponent wishing to enter the contact of this fighter will have to spend 1 CMD to be able to make it. On the other hand, there will be no CMD to spend if it is the fighter himself who enters the contact.
Lémures are not affected by this special capacity.

Circular Strike
If a fighter has this capacity, when he participates in a melee against an opponent in contact, he inflicts half the damage, rounded down, that he inflicts to his main opponent, to all other opponents in contact (this damage is affected by the protection of the fighters).

Enlightened
Effect of command • Dominance CMD
If this capacity is active, the fighter acquires the Fanatic ability.

Loyal X
The fighter can be recruited only in a company headed by an Officer of his faction. He cannot be recruited in a company commanded by an Officer of another faction by means of Prestige.

Prescient
If a zone of conflict must be determined for the battlefield, the fighter can choose it. If fighters having Prescient are in every company, it is the player who has it most large number which chooses the zone of conflict. If there is still equality, it is the player who has the Dominion which chooses.

Rancor
The fighter cannot be recruited in a company steered by an Officer of the faction specified, thanks to Prestige.

Bloodthirsty X
Effect of command • Dominance CMD
If this capacity is active, the fighter acquires the special capacity Teleportation and his value of DPT is increased by x.
If this capacity is active, when the fighter is targeted to receive an order of Vae Victis by his Officer, the Officer of the company can spend 3 CMD so that the fighter gets a bonus of 3.
