Translated Wave 2 cards?

Hey all,

Was just curious if anyone has translated the abilities on the wave 2 cards yet. I can hazard through most of the special abilities and stats, but am not totally clear on some of the orders/abilities.

I might go for it sometimes this week end.

As for the abilities and stats, you should be able to do more than "hazard through" them as the rules translation gives you the corresponding french name.

Only Auras and Orders need translations. I have actually began to think of the abilities by their French names largely (which might be due to me using both the English and a Finnish translations of the rules as the Finnish one was finished earlier).

Here are the orders/auras of the Wave 2. The Losts, Westerners and Demons did not get models with any. I included whatever was in the online erratas.

SARACENS

Alchemist
Orders
Grenade of rage (Active)
The Alchemist may create a 2" radius zone with a center in LoS and within 6" from him. All the models within that zone must perform a Charge or an Assault Action at their next activation. If a model cannot perform one of these Actions, it may be act normally.
Grenade of repulsion (Active - Unique)
The Alchemist may create a 3" radius zone with a center in LoS and within 6" from him. At least one friendly model and one enemy model must be within the zone. The Alchemist picks one enemy model within the zone and immediately moves it by up to 10" ignoring terrain and other models (but the model must end up in a normal terrain, outside of any enemy ZoC, and not in contact with an enemy model). The enemy player does the same with one of your models.
Aura
Poison cloud (Permanent - 2" radius)
At each Maintenance Phase, every model within the aura loses 3 wound points (their PR isn't taken into account). These are poison damages.

Lancer
Orders
Celerity of the ourébi (Passive - 2 CMD)
The Lancer gets +1 DPT and +1 DEF (max 5) until the end of the turn.
Sting of the scorpion (Passive - 1 CMD)
The Lancer gets +2 CBT until the end of the turn. This order may not be used more than twice per activation.
Wall of blades (Active - 2 CMD)
The Lancer gets the Opportunity Strike/3 ability and a DEF of 6 until the end of the turn.


MERCENARIES

Don Quichotte
Orders
Battling the windmills
Don Quichotte gets a +3 CBT bonus whenever he fights an enemy model on a very large base.
For Dulcinea! (Active - 2 permanent CMD - Unique)
Don Quichotte Charisma/2 special ability works within 8" instead of 4" until the end of the turn.
Vae soli
Vae victis

Rossinante
Orders
Battling the titans (Free - 2 permanent CMD - Unique)
Until the end of the turn, every enemy model that activates must perform a Charge, an Assault, or a melee action. Unengaged enemy models may also activate and not do anything. This order cannot be used during the first turn of a game. It does not affect Lemures.
Bladders for lanterns (Free - 1 CMD)
All friendly models are immune to Terror until the end of the turn.
Vae soli
Vae victis
Auras
Combustion Aura (Temporary - Active - 4" radius - Instant - Rossinante (Immune) - Unique)
The affected models are Consummed (fire - 3/3).

That Alchemist sure looks interesting - I can see that Grenade of repulsion combined with Tarik could enable rather nasty officer assassination wins. Of course the short(ish) range and the fact that the Order is Active will nicely balance it, I suppose.

I'm not quite sure of Rossinante's awesomeness (especially as Don Quijote has Charisma 2 and costs only 40 points), but I suppose that the unique Order might have interesting possibilities. I think that a battlefield test is needed in order to establish a firm opinion one way or another.

So he can feasibly have +4 CBT per turn?  Wow, so if you do that and 2 CMD Vae Victus giving him another +2, he would end up with 11 CBT for the turn?  Not to mention any Charisma or Support bonuses?  That is silly cool!   :)  All for a measly temporary 4 CMD
