when Bran is engaged in combat can he do his war cry as soon as he is activated (requires concentration) to put his opponent to the floor to prevent to be hit?

answer: no, the concentration triggers the combat and only if he survives and is not put to the floor himself (or other states that prevent the resolution of the effect) will his opponent be put to the floor.
