Lemm's Mercenaries

Demons and Mercenaries are my poisons of choice and since I've been on a Merc stint lately in Hell Dorado, I decided to post the two that I've finished.

First is a Squamate Nomad where the photo ate up all the highlights unfortunately. Skin, for example, is highlighted up to pure white, but it just doesn't show on the pics





Second is my Doppelsöldner (for Don Quijote) and here I really tried my best and took my time. Again the photography is less than ideal, but hopefully it gives some idea of the mini. I tried to get some colour and life into the armour and I think I kinda succeeded in it.





Still need to add the static grass to the base, though.

Honestly I kind of like the bases the way they are!

But really I tend to follow a "less is more"  philosophy when it comes to basing.

I agree with Dr. Mercury, don't imagine Hell having that much in the way of foliage! Although if you could be bothered then red or black grass could be cool.

I like the knight particularly.
Looking forward to painting the Squamates I picked up last week soon.
