So I will be setting up some HellDorado events at GenCon this year through the Tabletop Gamers group:
http://forums.ttgamers.com/forums/yaf_forum.aspx

The current plan is for Demos on Thursday and Friday (not sure how frequent and long as I need to leave time for other events and stuff to play myself), with a Bring and Battle or tournament or whatever on Saturday.

Please use this thread for discussion.  Any ideas or brainstorming, plans can be chatted about here.

I don't know what Asmodee's plan is for GenCon or if they even have one, but these events will be run if there's an English rulebook or not.

If I can get support from Asmodee that'd be great.  I tried last year but never heard back from anyone.

Merci.  I shall contact him as soon as my plans are a little tighter.  Probably next week.  Thanks again.

Any Hell Dorado presence at GenCon would be an excellent idea. As a new player, I'm looking for as much exposure to the game as I can get.

So the current plan is to run two 2 hour demos on Thursday morning & afternoon, Friday morning & afternoon, and one on Saturday morning.  Each 2 hour demo is actually going to be a 1 hour block, so I can run 2 groups per session.  The demos will be a scenario I am working on to demonstrate the game mechanics, and introduce players to the game.

And then on Saturday evening I would like to host a tournament.  Ideally players will have there own forces, but I can already assure you that if you don't have an army, there will be at least 4 extras on hand for players who maybe played the demo and want to try there hand in the tournament.  The Tap will be in effect.  ;)

I've submitted the events to the Tabletop Gamin head, and he will be submitting all our events as one submission to GenCon.  That way all our events can be in the same room with any luck.

I'll be sending some e-mails/PM's to see if we can get some support and make this an Official tournament.

I may have to enlist some scenery builders, as I can only bring so much with me as I fly down to Indy.
